Orrefors More Champagne Boule Set of 4

About the Designer:
Lagerbielke began her collaboration with Orrefors in 1982, during her studies, and had her major breakthrough with the Intermezzo collection already in 1984. Lagerbielke has received the Excellent Swedish Design award three times for Orrefors Intermezzo in 1985, Orrefors Merlot in 1995, and Orrefors Difference in 2002 (special prize). For her Orrefors collections, she has also won a Formex Formidable award in Sweden, the International Tabletop Award in Dallas, Texas, and the Deco Home Award – Produkte des Jahres in Germany.
Following the journey of glass from a syrupy, molten state to glittering crystal is a spectacular sight that takes place in the Orrefors hot shops every day.
Designers, glassblowers, cutters, painters and engravers play their part in this skilled work every day, and each glass from Orrefors is a unique and sophisticated piece of craftsmanship. By the time the finished glass leaves the glassworks, no fewer than 15 different people have contributed to the production process.
