Gold has always had a prominent role in Kosta Boda glass art and utility glass, usually as a minor highlight or as a graphic detail. With My Palace Golden Head, Bertil Vallien has created a head fully covered in a noble shimmer of gold, like an antique sculpture of timeless beauty.
My Palace Golden Head is part of Bertil Vallien’s anniversary collection, “Bertil Vallien: 60 years with Kosta Boda” (1963–2023), and is crafted at the Kosta Glassworks in Sweden.
