Golden Angel by Kjell Engman is inspired by the artist's own bathing ladies, whose shape is influenced by the curvaceous gospel singers he saw performing during a visit to the US. The object from Kosta Boda Artist Collection is handmade at Kosta Glassworks in Sweden, with sandblasted wings and a body hand-painted in real 21 karat gold, placed on a base of glass. The angel makes a lovely and thoughtful gift for someone special, symbolizing good wishes and happiness.
