These tiles are meticulously engraved and hand painted. Each set includes 160 individual tiles, an information brochure, and an embroidered Middle & Main storage bag in a warm purple. Each set includes 6 blank tiles.
The tiles are a glossy white acrylic with specially designed durable paint and measure 1.5" x 1" x 0.4".

As you may know, some of the beauty and appeal of Mahjong is the aesthetics of the tiles, not just visually, but their weight, their touch, and the various sounds they make, all of which enhance the experience of playing. When it was time to pick our first set, we had two realizations, that cultural heritage was a well known entity in the beautiful designs of the tiles, but that our cultural heritage was not represented in any existing designs. Our mission is to change that. We’ll start with our home and the places in our hearts and see where we go from there.
